FINALISTS IN THE ANNUAL HEALTHCARE INNOVATION AWARDS

The innovative nature of the iaCME approach to CPD was recognised in it’s selection as a finalist in the Biomnis Healthcare Innovation awards.  The recognition was for iaCME, in conjunction with a group of general practitioners who piloted an online CPD club earlier this year.  Recorded discussions, short presentations, various reflective and evaluation tools are used in these Clubs to help to build knowledge through peer collaboration in a particular area but also to improve the HealthCare Professional’s analytical/review skills.

Discussion forums (restricted to HealthCare Professionals) are available to discuss issues such as the quality of the papers under focus and the relevance of the findings to/implications for pharmacy practice.

Regular CPD Clubs will be rolled out - some will be aimed at one profession only but topics which involve interface issues will be open to inter-professional discussion.

Please check our site regularly for updates or contact us for more information.
